blow dry hair straight.
pull top half into a low ponytail, tightly. leave your bangs out.
straighten your bangs.
curl the bottom layer with a 1 inch and 2 inch curling iron (swtich irons for a more layered look)
hairspray them.
tease with your hands for body.
She has extensions & a well paid hairdresser to do it for her when she wants that look. You could almost get it by straightening it then sweeping it back pin it up and then curl certain peices.
Use a curling iron (or rollers) to curl your hair. To get the “hump” on the top, behind your bang area, tease your hair until you can’t tease it anymore. Smooth it out with a brush – just on top so it smooths over the knotted look. Pin this part back, or use a small hair tie. You can use your hair to cover the pin or hair tie to hide it.
Smooth out your long bangs with gel or mouse. If they’re really long, I would suggest pulling them tightly behind your ears, and fastening them with a small hair tie at the base of your head, just at the top of your neck. Your hair will cover this hair tie so there will be no worries about anyone seeing this. (I do this and works well – just be sure it’s tight!)
As far as the back, tease it as well, just not as much as you did the top.
You’ll need some lifting mouse and some bobby pins.
When hair is damp, add some lifting mouse to your roots, blow dry. You may need to use a flat iron or curling iron to straighten or curl or to add waves, whatever you desire. (I would use a flat iron and add curls/waves with that).
Tease the crown of your hair, smooth over and seperate the sections (how much you would like to leave up front?) I would grab about an inch around the hair line at my face and hold for later. Pull the rest (about 1/2 of your hair) back into a pony tail, adding more volume withe teasting and pinning). Add some more curls or waves, teasing at the pony tail and pinning some strands to position around as desired. Pull the front section to both sides or one side, smoothing with some serum or gel, and pin just past the ears or at the pony tail. Curl and tease for more volume. Set the hair with a workable hair spray and be fierce with all that body!!

pull it back the way hers is..
then get a LARGE curling iron. (cant be small, cuz then the curls will be too tight.)
k then you put a little hair spray on each curl after curling and it should be fine!
(make sure you do not straighten your hair first. your hair will not curl if you have put a flat iron to it first)
